EFI announced yesterday that they will be showcasing the Fiery open platform at drupa 2008 with support for XPS. The press release highlights that EFI developed the XPS technology in-house and that it ensures Fiery users can benefit from improved transparency and color rendering, as well as smaller file sizes for faster network performance, when printing Office documents.
