OK, so I’m finally back. I’ve been spending a huge amount of time getting ready for our MSDN Spring Tour, Fastrack Introduction to Visual Studio 2005. We’ve been able to deliver the content for this once so far, in Ottawa. WinForms 2.0 (beta 2) and Visual Studio Team System (developer focussed).
We truly had the gremlins out.
Sometimes demos go bad because of bad code. Sometimes because of Beta. Very seldomly, does something go wrong where, in the end, you have no real idea why. It’s only sometimes reproduceable, sometimes it works, and it’s not the software you’re showing, but something else. Truly, Gremlins.
Anyways, I wrote the WinForms test, and I have to admit, I didn’t get them all correct. I don’t look at anything when writing the test, although I should have taken a look at Petzold’s Programming Microsoft Windows with C#. Third edition, it has the answers to every single question I saw on the test.
Big, honkin’ book, chock full o’ goodness.
