Hurray, hurray, what a good day!

  2. Hi Aaron,

I am a still a Novice C++ developer, haven’t done any visual C++, and am looking at going into serious Visual C++ application development.

I noted the pricing on ""

and although I can convert to Rands, I would like to get to know the actual South African prices.

    A request for your opinion:

As a new comer, which one of the lower 3, Professinal – Premium, VS would you recommend. Or should I just settle for a Visual C++ package? I must mention that I have a serious project already waiting for me, and have so far done at least 3 projects in VB6.

    Hi Nhlanhla,

I’m not really involved on the sales side of things, so I can’t comment on pricing for South Africa because I simply have no idea.

You’ll need to evaluate what edition is right for you based on features, etc… I’d recommend looking over the feature matrix and downloading the trial edition(s) to figure out what will meet your needs.

I’m looking for a version of the Match Options Commands Add-In for VS2010.  Is there one around somewhere?
