There's a pleasant surprise waiting for you over at https://www.vsipdev.com/downloads/. (Update: June 2008 : VsipDev.com is no longer owned by Microsoft apparently.)

The page has been re-organized to be much easier to read and use. Also, you can get the latest "preview" releases of the Visual Studio SDK (which is replacing the current VSIP SDK). There's only a few samples right now, but they have been coded to a much higher quality bar than in the past. Go check it out and please send us feedback and bugs!
