What can you expect to find here?

Thanks for visiting – let me start by introducing myself. I am an infrastructure architect, currently covering Asia Pacific.
Born and raised in Norway – however work has taken me throughout the world for the last 10 years.

As an infrastructure architect I help our customers transform their infrastructures.
I assist with planning and designing

Microsoft technologies has been a part of my life since I was 15 years old. That makes it like … 21 years!
Since 1996 I have been working fulltime in the IT-industry. My passion for IT however, goes back way before.
I started my career 9 years old with an Commodore 64. I knew immediately what I were going to do growing up.

During the years I have been a Microsoft Certified Trainer (still is), a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP for Powershell) and collected around 70 Microsoft certifications.
I have worked across multiple industries – and I have tried being both a developer and an administrator – before becoming a consultant and architect.

My passion is in the datacenter – automating, operating, managing and security.
On the product side, this means I am a Windows Server and System Center guy.
However, I have been working closely with a variety of Microsoft technologies over the years.  This includes in particular Windows client, Forefront, Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint, SQL Server and also Dynamics CRM.
Besides the overall broad focus on infrastructure as an architect, I am really passionate about Powershell.
For me, I see Powershell as an important enabler in running a modern datacenter.

I will be rambling about the above mentioned technologies, and the themes that I find interesting with regards to infrastructure.

It is a common saying within our industry especially that “the best has yet to come”. I believe that is so true for how we do infrastructure.
Stay tuned!
