Microsoft recently fully integrated Git with Team Foundation Server, meaning that you can now use Git as your source repository instead of the built-in Team Foundation Version Control. In this session, we’ll discuss the reasons behind the move, and why you might want to consider Git for certain types of projects. In addition, we’ll walk through the basics of Git, and how to effectively use Git from the Visual Studio integration.
