Dexterity Training in Orlando (Oct 5th to 9th 2009)

Dexterity - Click for blog homepageNow is your chance.  If you have not attended a Dexterity Training class and are either new to Dexterity or want to get started with Dexterity, this is an opportunity that should not be missed.

My good friend, Leslie Vail, will be training the 5 day Dexterity I (also known as Dexterity Fundamentals) course in Orlando for the week of the 5th to 9th of October 2009.  Leslie is one of the best trainers you could hope to have. She has fantastic application and development knowledge and experience, and also a great sense of humour.

Dexterity is still one of the best tools for writing tight integrations, customisations and vertical products for Microsoft Dynamics GP.  Knowledge of Dexterity will help the .Net developer using Visual Studio Tools to fully understand how the application internals work. It can also be of benefit to a consultant or developer using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to get the most out of their customisations.

Hint: I know it is not officially supported, but having a better understanding of Dexterity sanScript can make working on Hybrid code using pass through Dexterity scripts via the Continuum Integration library much easier.

The course is organised through the partner Integrated Business Group (https://www.ibgnet.com/).

This course is a must for anyone wanting to get started in the Dexterity development world and provides the foundations from which all other Dexterity skills can be built.  I have trained this course many times and cannot recommend it enough.  See point 3 in my blog posting on How to get started with Dexterity.

If you would like more information, contact the training coordinator, Roxanna Alvarez, ralvarez@ibgnet.com or at +1 (407) 677-0370.

The best thing about this course is that it is already confirmed as it has enough students and so will not be canceled.  If you miss it, you will be waiting at least a year for another opportunity.
